{Sunday China} Caddy

Since Sunday is the Day of Rest, I like to rest from my labors of doing dishes. Unless its a special Holiday(even then the thought does cross my mind to use paper & plastic products) I really don't like to do the dishes on Sunday. We started this tradition a few years back and it has become a Family Favorite. Until now I have just put all the eating supplies on the counter (we store them in a cabinet in the garage) but often times I will forget at least one of them. I knew we needed a Caddy for our Sunday China.

As I was walking thru Walmart getting containers for our business I found these for only $5.50.

I just added some ribbon, a marker(for writing names on cups) & cups/plates/bowls/napkins/forks/spoons/knives.

Now its all organized in one place!

  1. Love this idea! i refuse to do dishes on sunday's too, but i just usually let them pile up in the sink! never thought of putting out the plastic ware! let alone having it all in one place! thanks for the idea!

  2. Angi, I am so glad to hear I am not alone. Before we had this system I too let the dishes pile up in the sink and then I dreaded Monday because I had double the work. I hope this works for you!

  3. I've been drooling over your blog for a week or so, (I'm a total convert! lol) but I really, truly love this idea. I love them all, but no dishes on Sunday? Sign me up!

So does that mean you don't cook that day too?

Thanks for so much awesome inspiration!

  4. Micki- thank you for the sweet comments. Sundays are our Crockpot days. It works out so great.
