Message of LOVE {day 8}

I love shrinky dink. It reminds me of when I was a kid and made fun creations.
I made these charms for their backpacks so they always have a piece of my heart with them.
[the big heart is the size I traced before it shrunk]

  1. It is a shrinkable plastic. You can trace or rubber stamp (with permanent) on it. Then cut it out and bake it. It shrinks down to a 1/3 of the original but after it is baked, its hard. I cook mine at 325 for about 2 1/2 minutes. Then I lay it flat on the counter while its hot so when it cools its flat. It works great for charms, magnets, buttons, earrings, etc.. You do have to punch out any holes BEFORE baking.Just a tip while baking: there is a shiny side and a dull side; bake with the shiny side facing up. It won't fold into itself as easily. I found this fun stuff at Michaels and they have a couple different sheens.
